Alumni Profile

Prof. Ravishankar’s research investigates various practical and theoretical issues in the areas of Databases, Networking, and Security. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a doctorate in Computer Sciences from the University of Wisconsin—Madison. He is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, and a member of the Association for Computing Machinery.
