David Jassby

David has 10 years of professional and academic experience, with positions held in Israel, Vietnam, the USA, and the UK. David received a B.S. in Microbiology from Hebrew University, a M.S. in Environmental Engineering from UC Davis and a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Duke University. Currently, David is an assistant professor in the department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering at UC Riverside.

David’s research interests includes membrane filtration; environmental and surface chemistry; nanoparticle fabrication, modification, and characterization; aggregation processes; and water quality modeling.

David’s professional experience includes property development in the UK; Environmental Engineering consulting; and logistics management in developing nations.
